Abstract

Conducting elections in colleges through traditional paper-based voting methods can be time-consuming, less efficient, and prone to errors or unfair practices. To improve the accuracy and transparency of the election process, this paper proposes an Online Voting System for colleges. The system enables students to cast their votes securely through a digital platform while ensuring voter authentication and preventing duplicate voting. The proposed system maintains transparency in vote counting and provides quick and accurate election results. Technologies such as web-based applications, database management systems, and secure authentication mechanisms are used to develop the system. The Online Voting System reduces manual effort, saves time, enhances security, and increases the overall efficiency of conducting college elections.
