Abstract

India's economic engagement with Sub-Saharan Africa has expanded significantly through increasing trade, foreign investment, and strategic partnerships. This study examines India's trade and investment opportunities in the region by analysing sectoral potential, economic cooperation, and major investment drivers. An exploratory and descriptive research design was adopted using secondary data collected from government reports, international organizations, journals, and trade publications. The original project employed Percentage Analysis, Trend Analysis, Comparative Analysis, and Descriptive Interpretation for data analysis. The findings indicate that infrastructure, agriculture, healthcare, energy, and telecommunications provide substantial opportunities for Indian businesses despite challenges arising from political, regulatory, and infrastructural constraints.
