Abstract

This project studies the application of digital-marketing practices — organic social media management, content production, and paid Meta advertising — as a tool for building brand awareness and supporting product education at Nature Organics, an organic-fertilizer and Agri-input company based in Sangli, Maharashtra, which has traditionally relied on offline, relationship-driven channels to reach farmers, dealers, and distributors. Conducted as part of a ten-week On-the-Job Training engagement (15 May – 15 July 2026), the study draws on primary data generated directly during the internship, including Meta Ads Manager campaign exports covering both a full-quarter window (May–July 2026) and a focused one-month window (August 2026), together with Instagram Insights data on organic content performance.

The analysis finds that low-cost, reach-oriented paid campaigns and educational, farmer-relevant video content (particularly Instagram Reels) were the most cost-efficient levers for building broad brand visibility, while converting that visibility into qualified product interest or leads consistently required a higher spend and more targeted creative. The study also finds that a substantial share of paid-media budget during the earlier phase of the internship supported internal recruitment campaigns rather than farmer-facing marketing, an important resourcing consideration for the company going forward. Based on these findings, the study concludes with a set of practical recommendations for how Nature Organics can scale its digital-marketing function beyond the internship period while preserving the trust-based, offline positioning that continues to underpin its relationships with farmers and dealers.
