Abstract

The rapid growth of generative artificial intelligence has produced powerful conversational assistants, but many productivity tasks still require users to move among separate applications for communication, documents, spreadsheets, presentations, files, and desktop automation. JUHI OS is proposed as an AI-powered productivity operating system that unifies these activities through natural-language interaction, voice assistance, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), persistent memory, Office automation, file management, and a modular multi-agent architecture. A Supervisor Agent interprets user requests and delegates them to specialized agents for conversation, memory, coding, document retrieval, Office operations, and Windows automation. The proposed architecture follows layered Clean Architecture principles to improve maintainability, scalability, and extensibility. This review analyzes the research foundations behind the major components of JUHI OS, including Transformer-based language processing, automatic speech recognition, RAG, computer vision, and presentation generation. The paper also discusses the proposed system workflow, data layer, security and privacy requirements, advantages, limitations, and future directions. The review indicates that the main contribution of JUHI OS is not a new foundation model, but the integration of complementary AI capabilities into a single user-oriented productivity environment capable of converting natural-language intent into information retrieval, content generation, or computer actions.

Keywords— Artificial intelligence, AI operating system, multi-agent systems, voice assistant, retrieval-augmented generation, productivity automation, large language models, desktop automation.
