Abstract

Globalization has transformed the Indian financial sector by connecting institutions and markets with international capital, technology, and financial services. Since the 1991 economic reforms, banking, capital markets, insurance, foreign investment, and financial technology have experienced greater competition, modernization, innovation, and customer orientation. This study examines the influence of globalization on India’s financial sector, particularly foreign investment, technological development, financial services, and challenges. Primary data were collected from 100 respondents and analyzed through percentage analysis. The findings indicate positive perceptions regarding foreign investment and technology, while market volatility, cybersecurity, competition, and regulatory complexity remain concerns for financial stability and sustainable development.
