Abstract

Politics at work have a significant impact on job satisfaction, productivity, and employee morale in Mumbai organizations. This study investigates the major factors contributing to workplace politics, particularly communication gaps and leadership bias. The Simple Percentage Method was used to analyze responses from 283 employees across various sectors using a structured questionnaire. The findings indicate that poor communication and leadership bias strongly influence workplace politics. The study recommends transparent communication systems and ethical leadership practices to reduce political behavior in organizations.
