Abstract

Data analytics has become one of the forces in the modern economy changing how companies make choices understand people and handle risks. This paper gives a look at data analytics: what it is, how it has. How it affects business, industry and society. It starts by explaining data analytics and listing its four types. Descriptive, diagnostic, predictive and prescriptive. Before looking at the size of the analytics market and how fast it is growing. The paper then looks at how data analytics affects how companies make decisions and how it affects areas like healthcare, finance and marketing using research and real examples. It also talks about the effects of this change on society like how it affects work, creativity and the job market. Finally the paper looks at the problems that come with using a lot of data. Privacy, unfair computer decisions, openness and how to control data. It ends with a look at trends like adding more artificial intelligence into analytics work. The overall view is of a field that has gone from being a job to being a part of business plans with big benefits but also risks that need careful management.
