Abstract

Inventory management and supply chain resilience have become essential strategic components for organizations operating in an increasingly uncertain and competitive business environment. This descriptive study examines the role of inventory management practices in strengthening supply chain resilience and enhancing overall business performance through a comprehensive review of secondary data. The study is based on information collected from peer-reviewed journals, books, industry reports, government publications, and reputable online databases. It explores key inventory management techniques, technological advancements, strategic business practices, and the challenges organizations face in maintaining resilient supply chains. The findings indicate that effective inventory planning, digital technologies, demand forecasting, supplier collaboration, and real-time information sharing significantly improve operational efficiency, reduce supply chain risks, and ensure business continuity. The study concludes that integrating strategic inventory management with resilient supply chain practices enables organizations to respond effectively to disruptions, optimize resources, improve customer satisfaction, and achieve long-term competitive advantage and sustainable business growth.
