PUBLICATION PROCEDURE
The publication process at the International Journal of Creative and Open Research in Engineering and Management (IJCOPE) is designed to ensure academic integrity, transparency, and timely dissemination of research. Authors are encouraged to follow the steps below carefully to ensure a smooth submission and publication experience.
1. Manuscript Preparation
Authors must prepare their manuscripts in accordance with the IJCOPE Manuscript Template (IEEE two-column format). All manuscripts should be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere. The paper must clearly present the research problem, methodology, results, and contributions to the field of Engineering and Management.
Manuscripts must be written in clear, grammatically correct English.
References should follow the IEEE citation style.
Figures and tables must be properly labeled and placed within the text.
Plagiarism should be strictly avoided; similarity must be below the prescribed limit.
2. Online Submission
Authors can submit their manuscripts through the IJCOPE Online Submission Portal or via email at editor@ijcope.org.
While submitting, authors should ensure:
All required fields in the submission form are filled.
The manuscript file is in
.docor.docxformat.A short author biography and corresponding author’s contact details are included.
3. Initial Editorial Screening
Once a manuscript is received, the Editorial Team performs an initial screening to verify:
Relevance to the journal’s scope
Adherence to formatting and ethical guidelines
Basic language and structure requirements
Plagiarism check using standard software
Manuscripts that meet the basic criteria move forward to the peer review stage. Those that do not conform may be returned to the authors for revision or rejected at this stage.
4. Peer Review Process
IJCOPE follows a double-blind peer review policy, where both authors and reviewers remain anonymous to each other.
Each manuscript is assigned to at least two independent reviewers with expertise in the relevant domain.
Reviewers evaluate the paper based on originality, methodology, clarity, contribution, and significance.
Review comments are compiled by the editor and shared with the authors for necessary revisions.
The review process typically takes 3–5 days, depending on the nature of the submission and reviewer availability.
5. Revision and Resubmission
Authors are expected to revise their manuscripts in accordance with the reviewers’ comments. The revised manuscript should include:
A clean revised version of the manuscript.
A response letter detailing how each comment was addressed.
Revised papers are reassessed by the editorial team or, when necessary, sent back to reviewers for further evaluation.
6. Final Acceptance and Publication Fee
Once the reviewers and editors are satisfied, a formal acceptance letter is issued to the authors.
Authors will be required to:
Complete the copyright and publishing agreement.
7. Proofreading and Final Checks
Before publication, authors receive the final proof of their paper to check for formatting errors, typographical issues, or minor edits.
No major changes to the content are allowed at this stage.
8. Online Publication
Accepted manuscripts are published online in the upcoming issue of IJCOPE. Each article receives:
