Abstract

Investment plays a vital role in achieving financial security and long-term wealth creation among salaried employees. This study examines the investment patterns of private and government employees by analysing investment preferences, savings behaviour, risk perception, financial planning, and factors influencing investment decisions. A descriptive research design was adopted using primary and secondary data collected from 100 respondents through a structured questionnaire. Simple Comparative Analysis was used to compare the investment behaviour of private and government employees. The findings reveal that government employees prefer safer investment avenues, whereas private employees show greater interest in growth-oriented investment options, contributing to better financial planning and long-term wealth creation.
