Abstract
The Constitution of India, adopted in 1950, is a transformative living document that aims to create an egalitarian society founded on the values of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity. Seventy-five years after its adoption, the promise of social justice for marginalised communitiesâparticularly Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and other disadvantaged groupsâremains a fragmentary goal.
